Hi, my name is Bea and I'm a Toronto based artist. The city influences a lot of my art because I often choose to depict more urban locations in my art. I live near the beach so in my photos there is a lot of nature which is reflected in my love of taking pictures of flowers and other natural scenery. I have always been very interested in art from a young age. This is mainly because of my father who is very artistic. Over the years I've grown to understand what types of art I enjoy. Mainly I enjoy sketching, watercolour, and cubism. Although if I had to choose just one I would pick watercolour. I really love the simplicity that watercolour brings to art especially when drawing nature. Even though I love these styles of art I like to experiment with what mediums I use, as you can tell by looking at my projects throughout the year.  My artwork has been shown at the annual Linden Art Show. Some fun facts about me to finish this up are I have a dog named Elvis (he's a party coloured miniature schnauzer), I love basically all 90s teen movies (although my absolute fave is Clueless), and I have an obsession with broadway musicals (my #1 is Phantom of the Opera).
